Our story
The Foundation begins with Isaiah Omoregie’s childhood experience of hospitals, family advocacy, and the quiet question of what support should feel like when a child is sick.
Born at Tampa General and raised in a family that had to learn the rhythms of care, Isaiah grew up noticing who was missing from the stories told about sickle cell. The answer became a responsibility: build something that gives the next generation a different list to read.
Crediting the model
We are patterning this Foundation after the organization that helped me as a child. The Children's Cancer Center of Tampa Bay served my family during my childhood, and the model we are building — completely free services to families, holistic support beyond medical care, programs organized around patient lifecycle stage — is a direct continuation of what they taught me.
SickleSafe LLC and SickleSafe Foundation are separate entities with aligned missions. The company builds the technology platform. The Foundation makes sure families are not left alone because of cost, geography, or circumstance.
